1. thank you sondra for cutting my hair! it looks/feels great! you'll probably read this in may or whenever the next time is that you get on lj, but hey, thank you :)
2. tour's comin' up. i'm excited. still trying to finalize some things. i'll be broke as a joke when i get back, but it's worth it. i can't wait to just be on the road again. see a new town every day. play a show almost every night.. ahhh, how i miss it. marc and i still need to buy wallet chains to fit in w/ adrian and casey.
3. kirk's moving in!! how did i ever get to such a great point in my life w/ such a great guy? who knows. he'll be moving in the first week of april i think, but some stuff's moving over slowly. guitars, the music stand [which WILL be mine! muahahaha!], clothes. it's amazing having so much in common with someone. it's amazing being able to just lie in bed and talk until 3am. it's amazing waking up next to him every morning. and it's amazing just being so excited about someone.
4. number three is way too damn mushy and gross for me. bleh.
5. slowly going back to vegetarian. and eventually i'll get back into working out. when the weather's nice i think. it's just too damn cold to want to total gym it up.
6. i need to draw more also. a lot more.
7. i'm way into banjo lessons and practicing for 2 hours a day. it's really fucking fun.
8. i really want to go back to school in the fall. it's time. i want to learn again. art. spanish. cooking. that's all i want to work on. and MAYBE math. i like math.
9. jedi's been sleeping all day. she's going to be HELL tonight.

i've never been excited about valentine's day.
so this is new. :)
week off from school hurts the wallet,
but it's been good for me.
practicing banjo and cello by the sliding glass door
while jedi plays in the sun.
it's been a nice routine that i wish wouldn't end by monday.
our show was so much fun last night.
tino is a badass, simply put.
surrogate was fucking great as always.
so many faces there, and on a tuesday.
such a great show. i want every show like that show.
i can't wait for the cd release show,
but it's coming way too fast.
jedi's snoring so loud right now. she's too cute..
it's weird to finally be in a place
where i just really don't have anything to complain about.

so aubrey debauchery is now "aubrey debauchery and the boys" or something along those lines.
these dudes are smokin', and this band is fucking radtastic as fuck. no, there's no big head here, it's just super, super fun!!
adrian: upright bass
marc anderson: lap steel
aubs d'bauch: vox, guitar
mitch: drums
the awesomeness will debut on dec 15th. you should be there. and if you can't make it, you should be at the dec 21st show. that'll be one hell of a night, promise!!
damn, that bill is a GOOD lookin' bill, mhmm! AND, to let you know how fucking rad some of those bands are, this year's cnr "bands to watch" list included the shimmies, red giant, and dr. yes! don't worry kiddies, i was picked years ago. i'm a fuckin' veteran in this town..
also... i'm probably jumpin' the gun here, getting too excited and all... but.....
this lil girl might be named jedi, and she just MIGHT be mine in a few weeks!!

how small chico is and how easily you can get sucked into drama
but to be honest... i don't really hate that much, which makes me feel good

in music news:
three shows next week.
normal street bar on monday w/ surrogate and casing the promiseland
la salles on wednesday for the cammies cd release. folk at a dance club... should... be interesting.. if anything
saturday at cafe coda! [all ages] w/ the shimmies!
october, we're playing every weekend 'cept for the first
we've got a show at the knockout club in sf, that's should be fun.
we start recording again. finally. super stoked on that.
november might be a big break with just lots of practicing and figuring shit out
okay then. i've got practice in about a half hour.
